Neo Westphalian Europe Part 8: Republic of Wales

The Republic of Wales will be made up of the current Welsh counties of the former United Kingdom. Unlike Scotland it is likely it will follow the Irish republican model as its basis of government.

This nation would include the Gwent, South Glamorgan, Mid Glamorgan, West Glamorgan, Dyfed, Powys, Gwynedd and Clwyd Counties, currently a part of the United Kingdom.

Its flag is based on the standard of Henry the 7th.

Neo Westphalian Europe Part 7: Republic of the Isle of Man

The Isle of Man is another republic to come out of the Celtic leagues push for the independent Celtic nations. It's territory is made up of the island of Mann, which sits in the Irish sea between Ireland and Great Britain.

This nation will thus include the territories of the Ayre, Glenfaba, Garff, Michael, Rushen and Middle Sheadings, currently a part of the United Kingdom.

Its flag was adopted in the 1903's and is based on the historic Manx coat of arms.

Neo Westphalian Europe Part 6: Dominion of Scotland

This country will be made up of the current Scottish regions of the modern United Kingdom, less the Outer Hebrides and North Isles areas.

This will leave a country made up of the Central Scotland, Glasgow, Lothian, Mid Scotland and Fife, North East Scotland, South Scotland and West Scotland Regions, currently a part of the United Kingdom. Added to this will be the Argyll and Bute; Caithness, Sutherland and Ross; Inverness and Nairn; Moray; and Skye, Lochaber and Badenoch Constituencies, currently a part of the Scotland Highlands and Islands Region in the United Kingdom.

 It is likely that at least in the interim it will remain a Dominion of the English Crown. It may be some time before a Republican movement comes to the fore. Remaining a Dominion is the SNP's stated goal, even if this is only for a transitional period.

This means its Executive branch will remain headed by the Queen of England for now. It is highly unlikely it will have any branch represented in the failing EU, despite SNP promises to the contrary.

Its flag is the historical flag of the Scots which may date back all the way to the 800's.
