They had waited so long as it was. It really would not have altered materially what has since transpired on the ground. Radiation Update

Here are today's readings out of Melbourne. Slightly higher than before but still within a range to be expected. Its possible we are seeing a slightly elevated reading due to solar flare activity which we seem to be witnessing a huge amount of.

Thankfully those of us in the Southern Hemisphere are still being spared any physical outcomes from the Nuclear Disaster. However we have not been spared the outrageous disinformation attack from the nuclear lobby (and strangely somehow some in the GREEN Lobby have joined them) in saying this disaster proves nuclear is 100 per cent safe. This outrageous and disgusting disinformation (its rude to the workers bravely sacrificing their lives to stop this mess if nothing else) has reached a peak in the land of balls out bullshit and lying at all costs no matter what is going on (the USofA).

[Ferretous says: yeah so safe that USS Ronald Reagan just left port in Japan, sailed beyond an extended potential fallout zone and scrubbed their decks for radiation. And that photo seems to show the deck of the Ronald Reagan being swabbed. Yet the text of the story indicates the George Washington is being pulled back. So I wonder what's going on and how many ships have now been pulled back. Given that these ships are nuclear powered as well you would think that the US Military has the longest history of dealing with Reactors and Nuclear Radiation. And their behaviour does not seem to indicate that they think its so amazingly safe. So come on Fux News you are supposed to love the US military why are you betraying them by suggesting that they are overreacting and they should be giving their crews shore leave for skin treatments and facial peels in the Core Pools?? Talk about a nation that has a "State Television" channel that is completely devoid of reality. Matches completely its Arabic counterparts. [Ferretous says: #alittlebitofknowledgeisdangerous ... there are some significant scientists who are delving into Radiation Hormesis and yes it actually could be true that a little radiation could be good BUT ... it has to be the right type of radiation and would need to be somewhat controlled. The radiation from fallout from a meltdown or reactor release is NOT this type of radiation. Also ingesting radiation through contaminated foods or inhaling radioactive particles can be extremely dangerous and almost guarantees problems. This is where a little bit of information can be disinformative even if it is true. NUANCE is the key to truth ... Nuance hah check out the wiki page dedicated to Nuance ... exemplifies the lack of awareness of adherence to nuanced argument since the internet was born ... FOX doesn't know the meaning of the word truth and doesn't have the patience for nuance ... good on Bill Reilly though (uuurrrghh shudder) ... URGENT REQUEST TO THE INTERNATIONAL COMMUNITY!!

It has become clear that a nation is terrorising peaceful protesters and its army indiscriminately killing civilians!!!

First we have seen in one of the states of this nation called Virginia a number of peaceful protesters gathering to show solidarity for a member of the armed forces that is being imprisoned and tortured for letting the world know what is going on in his country. Many former soldiers were present at this rally this was no "hippy mungbean fest". And just like we are seeing across the other countries facing dictators now the Police were sent in AGAINST these Army personnel. And these are not just standard police but full scale paramilitary police with masked faces and loaded automatic weapons facing off against peaceful protesters:



Just like we have seen in Egypt this is night of the long knives stuff.

And as this despotic nation turns on peaceful protesters in its own borders its military has death squads overseas slaughtering civilian populations.



It is quite obvious that action must be taken immediately against this rogue nation. The international community must immediately begin an air war over this nation, the United States of America and carpet bomb this country from sea to shining sea in order to 'save the protesters' and stop the killing of civilians.

Hopefully a missile or two will find its way to Obama's rat hole and turn his Nobel Peace Prize into a glowing chunk of melted metal that is just the right size for insertion in the mad bastards anus!!!

Either way it seems only fair the UN should immediately sanction air strikes on the United States of America. If nothing else to safeguard all the oil supplies and strategic storage reserves that come from this nation. Think of the Oil people!! SAVE THE OIL BOMB AMERICA!

Yeah right thats why the US military wont allow its members to get too much exposure and why large areas are being evacuated at huge cost and difficulty in the already disaster wracked area. If its so safe why not just leave everyone where they are and let everyone eat the radioactive spinach? Why refer to the brave workers trying to halt the meltdown as Nuclear Samurai and refer to their mission as a 'suicide' mission?? BECAUSE ITS NOT FREAKING SAFE YOU GREEDY MINE BASTARDS.

Of course we will still probably mine such materials for radiological health applications. But to say nuclear power is just totally safe like some at the Australian conference so dismissivly did surely gives us the right to attempt to capture and put on trial such CEO's in self defence as they threaten to exterminate the entire species with their greed?

The individual who is operating it for us is much more knowledgeable on these things and assures me we should be seeing a reading between 0.15 and 0.20 CPS as our normal background hum here in Melbourne. If we start to see levels elevating above that we should start paying attention. This is not to suggest that we will be anywhere near radiation sickness levels if we do start to creep above that but just that something of note is going on that we should start paying attention to. Of course if the Plant goes off properly there is no telling where the wind will take the fall out. Very interesting times if you are into your Thermonuclear Apocalypse type lifestyle.]
